We have designed a full-day program to empower you at every stage of your career journey: Session 1: Kick-off Workshop “Intentional Careers” with Dr. Hannah Roberts: Start your day with strategies for building a purposeful and fulfilling career. Session 2: “Meeting Expectations – What it takes to get the job”: Hear directly from Project Leaders about what they look for when hiring for academic positions. Session 3: “Meeting Expectations – What it takes to get the money”: Fellow scientists share their experiences and tips on securing various types of research funding. Session 4: “Beyond the lab – Introducing diverse career opportunities”: Meet alumni and former peers who will share their journeys and current roles outside academia.
